Röhl is also a target of the scouting dept that pre-dates Moyes

Agreed with all of that. It's particularly annoying me because I genuinely think he will be a top quality left back in a couple of years and we're probably mishandling him so badly we'll never see it at Everton.

Early signs aren't great, are they? Still feel guilty typing that because it's so early and I hate making snap judgements about players, but a lot of the stuff that irritates me about Alcaraz is what I'm seeing here already - a bit of an athlete...

Oh I'm with you - if he's that far away physically, then we shouldn't have been signing him given we need competition at left back. TBF you can see quality on the ball, and he was cheap, so maybe it made sense in some ways - but he looks like a...

All I would say is that I've seen him twice for the U21s and on both occasions he's looked like a child playing in a man's game. Looks technically good, but just miles and miles away physically and positionally - and that's at U21 level. I find...

There was always going to come a point this season where RB became a problem area for us, but I'll confess I didn't think it would reach the point where Patterson was seen as a viable alternative

Generally speaking, I see potential, but there are games (like today) where I doubt myself. I really don't like his lack of aggression or strength. I can forgive a little bit of slopiness with the ball here and there and, as I've said a few...

@toffeeblue9 not to say that Moyes hasnt got us a fair number of points up to todays game. But for me as ive said since the start of the season. Europe or use the young players to be ready for a new attacking team next season. At this rate we...

I mean, I agree with all of that but the changes he made at HT were on him. I thought at the time that they were mental and I don't think I've changed my mind

Manager is ultimately responsible for results and performances, but I can't lay the blame for players losing 2nd balls and individual battles at the manager's door. There were tactical and personnel mistakes he made and I think we should debate...

Good cameo. Used the ball well. I'd be tempted to throw him in from the start against Wolves, but I'm absolutely certain that won't happen

I don't disagree Zat tbh, but I think you're being unfair if you lump 8 or 9 disgraceful individual performances at his door. I also have concerns about that Wolves game as their recent performances have been much improved.

Made mistakes, yes, but he didn't tell Tarks to give a suicide pass for Brentford's first goal or make 8 or 9 of the lads out on the pitch in that first half have nightmares and be 2nd to everything, lose all their individual battles and lose...
