Buying 20m players is not gonna get us anywhere. We need 50-60m players to start and build each window so we end up with top class across the whole team. We have built up a number of average players by not paying for top quality.

He was our most creative player in the first half. The only one that was moving to receive the ball all the others far too static. The only one looking to move the ball forward rather than the safe uncourageous Gomes. Gomes for me is a bigger problem than Iwobi.

I was quite impressed when first came. I just don’t know what he adds, can’t tackle, no pace, no assists, no goal threat, passing inconsistent (except backwards ) gives away silly free kicks. Doesn’t create. what does he do well?
