Turned out that plenty of people needed the emergency service.

Last summer they were fined £2million for doing they same thing over the previous 2 seasons. They clearly don`t think the rules apply to themselves.

This should have been all in the planning for our ground - item no 1 - the city council should have sorted it all back then & BK who was in charge off this stadia it should have been a no 1 priority .... not wait till now to sort this mess out !

I wondered this. The platform is about 134m long according to the measurement I just made using Google Maps. I have no idea how long an 8 car train is… though I’m sure someone will know! Though of course, Merseyrail trains are actually pretty...

I had a look on Google maps and the platform seems plenty long enough. There`s a 4 car train on google maps just to the north of Sandhills and its looks like that takes half the length of the platform.

So there will be 8 car trains pulling into Sandhills, is the platform big enough to accommodate the amount of folks that would fill 8 cars? Oh I forgot we have the cattle pen to deal with that.

There`s a certain amount of game weeks that TNT have first pick on what game they want to show, so it might have been that they had kept one of those first choice picks to include the last Goodison game knowing that it would be of big interest...

Ideally, going on our recent poor form at home, we`d probably been better off playing all ours games away from home.

First home will be on tv no matter who we are playing.
