not only that but mirallas is our primary out of left field playmaker and part of why our attacking threat hs been so weak is because he isnt there to rush balls from nowhere to the box

Howard's saves have been fantastic, good response to setpieces, attacking threat is way too weak though... baines also has had a good game. Martinez really is ficusing up the issues we had with previosuly. I know everyone was kind of pessimistic going into this but this is a solid evertonian...

I'm just sad the derby came this early. We're still on a bit of a bender from summer and need about a month to sober up. Everton at the start is either sluggish into a steady pace or like a firecracker out of the gate that fizzles for awhile and I think we know which one it is this year.
