No, this is the whole issue with this club. Improvement is only coming if we find edges on players others don’t. Dewsbury-Hall isn’t that. It’s very unlikely any player who has the background he has ever will be. Look at where Palace and...
He’s badly badly average. I’d say he’s a guy who doesn’t really do a lot wrong but doesn’t really do much to win a game either, but that’s hard to say when he can’t get through a game without getting booked.
I’m not even sure Alcaraz is good...
He’s bad and we wasted a ton of money on him. It’s not fair to him personally but it’s the exact type of thing that shows we still don’t get it as a club and that’s why it’s so infuriating to me.
Getting three fully deserved yellows in six games as an attacking player is still crazy. It’s a bit wild that there is this largely held belief he’ll be fine deeper when he can barely handle himself further up.
This is not the job! And KDH has not shown the ability to consistently be creative at this level.
Admittedly this is a simple way to look at it but career assists in the PL:
Alcaraz: 5 in about 2000 minutes
KDH: 6 in about 5000 minutes
