I still have a bit of a DVD collection, there were some things I couldn't part with. I used to collect a lot of boxing matches and there was no way they were getting thrown away.

Only my opinion, but I think this will become collectible in the future. At some point everything becomes collectible. Look at Swatch watches. They were designed as fun, throwaway watches, now some of them are worth tens of thousands.
