It is nonsense, as is the idea that when Everton were winning our first couple of league titles that it was anywhere near as big as the FA Cup. Some Evertonians have started deluding themselves that the gap between PL and Cup as it is now was like that years ago...total BS.

This isn't happening. They can win every game and it won't matter. Newcastle's form is excellent right now and there's no way Utd are going to start to get shafted by refs to allow a smaller club to leapfrog them.

If it's switched it'll be because they play on the Tuesday after, which means they'll play on the Wednesday before, so it won't be Friday. It'll probably be 5.30 on Saturday (if slot is available). Either way, they could have waited until next Wednesday to re-arrange a game that they might have...

It shouldn't be, but it could be if Real and the Italian teams play on Sunday too, so two teams would likely go back to the Saturday fixture.
