there are still a lot of places to go with regards to clubs. They may not be on weekly like cream (and the other venues you mentioned) used to be but the city still brings some of the worlds best DJ's in on a regaular basis.

Neneh Cherry's lesser known brother, Eagle Eye Cherry, used to live in the caravan in my parents garden. He paid £26.52 and a packet pof jelly tots per week in rent.

so, what went down at the weekend? I went into town for the match, had some food at Host first (excellent as always) and then headed to Camp and Furnace for the game. Got there and there was a big queue outside and no one really getting in. So we walked round the corner to District on Jordan...

i can't have that mate! nightmare to get round when busy. yes, the production was always decent but far from one of the best venues.

not sure why this makes you that happy - as a venue its not great, in my view.

most people use it in the wrong context i would say. 'he has boss banter' - you couldnt substitute 'piss take' when it is said in that context. it probably does serve a purpose, but i just hate the term.

each to their own like but i dont get people who dont vote. I understand that people may have apathetic views of all politicians/political parties but look at it like this.........there will be a load of people that you class as knob heads who will vote. It may be your next door neighbour or...
