I'd have thought the UK’s Equality Act 2010 can be cited if a purely digital method discriminates against someone without a smartphone. Potentially even consumer rights. Everton didn't confirm the process prior you purchasing your season ticket... -

CAB suggested that the Club should provide physical tickets as a gesture of good will - not sure that'll work!
