Although I've been seeing this since the 60s its still a body blow. But it keeps happening, time and time and time again and I still get p! ££@& off with it.
This is one of the reasons football is just not the same anymore. It was a perfectly good tackle but his momentum took him into the player. It was a total accident. Jags got sent off at Wolves for the same challenge.
In fairness to the lad he's a good trier, but he's just not good enough at this level. If those 2 chances had fell to Olly Watkins, who I'm not a big fan of. He would have hit the target both times. Beto miss hit one completely and didn't even get a touch in the other.
Started really well. Then gave up the midfield. Tim's awful. Beto not good and the least said about Hooper man the better, woeful refereeing performance.
So they win again having been 2nd best. I really don't know why I'm surprised anymore. I've been seeing it since the 60s. Time and again they get a stuffy winner or an absolute worldy out of nowhere. It just doesn't compute.
City have been found out. Everything's slow, slow, slow, slow, slow. Pass, pass, pass. They remind me a bit of Arsenal towards the end of Wengers time. They won't win the league unless Pep does something drastic and changes the way they play.
Keane did very little to stop the cross for the 1st goal as well. He just dangled a leg out. Surely he should be launching himself at the ball to try to block the cross or am I being harsh.
