Each day is individual with a different start, different map, different area. People make a holiday of it and book accommodation in the area, camp, motor van etc and travel to the events each day from their base. 3 races then a rest day if you...

Started running again in May after far too long off, did a 5k as a benchmark to see how far I'd deteriorated and it was horrible. Did another last week and I've knocked nearly 6 min off the May time. Got another one booked in for the end of Aug...

Race 6 of the year today - Gisburn Forest half marathon. It’s a part of the world I’ve never been to before, around Clitheroe. Every bit as beautiful as the Yorkshire Dales. It was a tough race for a Forest course, lots of climbs and rocky...

Along this line of thinking, a top postings page? Like recent posts but for recent engagement? But also, yes thread highlights would be nice. I don't know if eggs still does the transfer summary, but would be nice to read all of these in one go...

@GrandOldTeam I guess what always makes me frustrated is that there isn't a separate transfer thread solely for transfer story embeds or links without the additional commentary, so if you're looking to keep apprised of transfer news you don't...

It's a good point, and something I consider a fair bit. Crux of it though mate, is always remembering what we are. We're a forum, for opinion and discussion. That's always got to be central. I get there's some who'll want to dip in and out, but...

@Curtis Moved this from the fume thread, to here. I'm thinking a single, seperate thread, with the latest news automatically posted in there by automation, which doesn't allow replies could be a good thing for us to test.

First: Reissdorf Kölsch in some beer tent when I was 15 Last: Schwechater Zwickl with the lads after 5-a-side yesterday Best: That's a tough one. Probably an ice cold Blonde de Bruges along with some Belgian bratwurst at the Grand Place in...

KOTH is absolute genius. It's so well observed. One of my best friends when I lived in the US was from Dallas and we used to watch it almost every evening after work.

King of the Hill is A+ comedy, at least by Yank standards. Knew a guy from Texas whose name is Hill and he’d never watched it and that’s grounds for unfriendship right there.

I'm rewatching king of the hill, you should do some of their quotes

That's really what intrigues me as well, wondering how they get the strong flavors and what it actually tastes like without the high ABV. But also so far I think I've only seen Belgian blond NAs, nothing stronger than that, so maybe it isn't easy.

Will grab some of that and some Delirio at some point, seen both of these at the local Whole Foods. There might have been another option as well, was a bit overwhelming for so many new NA choices.
  • SerenityNigh
@SerenityNigh Nab some Chouffe and give them out to your "manly" friends after removing the label. Then drop the bomb that it's an NA after they're done necking it. $11.50 here for a 4-pack at Total Wine. The Athletic is way too IPA-bitter for...

Same. Never found an electric shaver that worked well, always irritated my skin. Never enjoyed using a razor either though. Best I've found is the old school blade "safety razor." Very simple, works quite well, seems to last longer than the 7...
