Genuinely don't understand him as a player. Can be so frustrating to watch do the simplest things but under Dyche just seems to be involved with every goal. I never would've expected him to pick that pass to Gueye.
Feels like we get it forward to a decent position then just slow it all down because we struggle to think of what to do next. Someone needs to take a chance around that box if we're gonna score.
Whether people think he's the sole one responsible for certain goals or not I think its hard to deny that whenever he plays the defence just always seems a mess when things start getting hard.
Think he'd be even better with a full back who could support the attack better. Think too often this season he and anyone else on the wing was pretty much having to attack a side on their own compared to when we had the likes of Baines and Coleman in his prime bombing on ahead of them to give...
Makes you wish he could stay fit for even half a season. Even beyond is overall ability, his mentality is what this team desperately needs on the pitch compared to the likes of Keane who probably wanna be anywhere else when things go bad.
Think he tired towards the end but it just shows how important it can be just having someone who can be an outlet up top. Even the second goal, forcing the defenders to commit to him for the header.
I fully appreciate the lack of options that we have right now but the few we do have he seems very reluctant to even try when the likes of Godfrey and Holgate stink the place out while we have a literal RB sitting on the bench or even trying a different CB pairing because I feel like Keane and...
He just gives us the option of hitting it long and actually having a chance at winning the header or at least making it not an easy one for the defender. Just gotta hope he can get up to speed fast.
He just offers nothing useful. He doesn't want anything to do with the ball in the opposition half and defensively I don't really think he's any good either.
