You seem to be forgetting that Thelwell has had his hands tied behind his back his whole tenure. He's shopping for bargains and filling holes with whatever he can find and firefighting

So all players in the club are on the exact same level? Every single player who is trying to break into the first team has the same potential? Every single player is different and has different potential. Just because we won doesn't mean things couldn't have been done better either.
