I agree! They reckon about 50% of all signings in the prem are a success I would rate Thelwells signings a lot higher than 50% even down to Tim Iroegbunam, we got the best of that deal.

Proper old fasioned defender, and pretty good at it....most of the time. Can switch off and does not seem to communicate well with team mates. Shocking going forward. Fine for us for now, but could out-grow him if we do progress.

I think that’s a great shout. He’s settled down and looks more confident for sure. Full backs need to carry a threat going forward in the modern game and he’s added a bit in the last few months.

With respect , I've been watching Everton for 50 years. I know about underrated players and in my opinion Garner isn't one of them. If we want to be in the top half next season, then he needs replacing, or at the best be on the bench
