You’re all over the place. I’m not arguing any of them are overall better midfielders than Gueye, just that Gueye is poor in possession, which he is, are you trying to say he’s good on the ball? Basic is a different subject but seeing as you...

Young and progressive, takes risks, perfect for this place.

Can’t remember too many league 1 level midfielders getting multiple motm awards in the premier league and starring against Yaya Toure and the City midfield in a league cup semi final. But yeah let’s just judge him on how he played rehabbing from...

That’s not what I said though is it. If you clearly read it I said I’d trust any of the others to handle the ball better than him. I stand by that. Do people really think Gueye is good in possession? Short memories.

Wait around until the last day of the window for a player that is obviously going elsewhere and then get a complete no mark in who can’t hit a barn door…on loan

Handing him a new deal is throwing good money after bad. It's also lazy, unambitious, "will that do?" stuff from the manager.

Yeah we’re talking about buying one CB who doesn’t even need to go straight into the 11 and some people are acting like this is a bigger risk than keeping a known failed quantity in Keane. I’d rather give any minutes he gets to the best youth CB...

Yup, it's self-sabotaging delusion. He's not good enough - simple as. And while we may not be able to get rid of everyone in that category in one fell swoop, we should not be giving such players - remaining here only by default - any...

Go all out for cups. We have to end the drought.

Could work well for both parties. Moyes knows he has to perform unlike in his first period as Kenwright was never firing him. Friedkins could get the best version of Moyes which is a very good manager until he can’t take us any further.

Maybe if our midfielders could keep possession more they wouldn’t have to make so many tackles. We shouldn’t be getting hung up on one stat.

When he gets wheeled out for a derby, or a cup quarter final, because Tarkwoski and Branthwaite have gone down, and then he drops a clanger and sends us out, remember all the posts on here that said it’s ok to keep him because he’ll be fourth...

It’s the mentality at the big stadiums that I’m looking out for. St James’s Park, City ground, the Amex have been more difficult grounds to play at this season than old Trafford or Spurs. I want to see us perform at the same level at some of...

It’s good to see him getting some away wins. Brighton, Palace, Fulham, Forest, Newcastle. There were some full seasons under him previously we wouldn’t get five away wins. We do seem to be setting up a bit more to play counter attack away from...

Does he play ahead of Jackson if they’re both fit and in form? He doesn’t play ahead of Isak. He’d get in ahead of Hoijlund at the moment but it was only last season that Hoijlund was in good form in the prem and was one of the most sought after...
