Been in Munich watching Sunderland this weekend. With a game against FC Augsburg (we won 1-0!) Germany just has it right like. Really friendly fans, good beer in your seat and cheap tickets. Probably about 2-300 Sunderland fans over there...

Problem with that is they lost their outstanding keeper and their best defender this summer, and haven’t really replaced them with any great quality.

Burnley are utterly doomed if they think that’s a good use of their money. We were Broja’s last chance at this level and he fluffed it spectacularly. Preparing for another promotion push with them signings.

They were the highest net spenders in the world a few years ago (higher than PSG, Real etc.) unfortunately for them they bought absolute rubbish. Their fans didn’t seem to realise at the time the PSR nightmare it would create and instead crawed...

I’ve they did go out of business their fans would have a far better time of it then this slow horrible drawn out situation. They’ve have a fan owned club starting from the bottom, probably full of fans who play non-league/ ex-players on amateur...

He was about to sign on loan with an option to buy if we were promoted (as part of the Watson deal), but we couldn’t get it over the line in Jan. But the player was happy with the deal etc. it was wages with Brighton that held it up, the clubs...

Sorry to but in, but I bet you couldn’t like. My understanding is that we agreed that deal in January last season (as part of the Tommy Watson deal).
