    Everton Youth Teams Thread

We weren’t dealing with eddie Howe and Bournemouth. Solanke, smith and Ibe to the tune of 40m yet none of them barely played for the RS.

    2019/20 Moise Kean

I was critical of Kean in this thread the other day. Stating I’d yet to see anything from his limited game time to suggest he could be a success in this league. Forget the goal that will do wonders for his confidence, but I saw snippets the other night that suggest he just might be slowly coming...

    2019/20 Lucas Digne

Funnily enough I’d put him on par with Chilwell. Back to Digne I think his form has suffered this year due to the lack of game time for Bernard. There were many comparisons last year between baines/piennar combination and the digne/Bernard one. Let’s face it Digne and virtually the whole team...

    January Transfer Thread 2020

If 78m for digne is true, we’d be mad to turn it down. It would alleviate considerable pressure on our accounting to meet FFP targets. Allowing Ancelotti to buy the players he wants, not who brands wants, to rebuild the side.

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

I think he had big insight about the mentality of this group in the derby at the pit. He will have learnt even more tonight. Couldn’t agree with you more, he will act and he’ll be ruthless. Maybe a little late this window, but certainly in the summer.

I would have liked to have seen Gordon on for Bernard. He could have played in the same position and has more football intelligence then the other 3 subs even though he’s 18.

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

It’s ironic because tonight is the best I think we’ve played under Carlo. We moved the ball a bit quicker and Delph and Scherderlin passed the ball offensively better. Kean got his goal and then.....well that’s Everton for you.

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

Yes the bench was weak, but there is no excuse for that capitulation. Players lost all sense of urgency after the second goal. Manager and players equally at fault for this. If silva has pulled that stunt with the subs he would have been roasted on here. On another note, with 4 mins injury time...

How quickly things can change in football.

10 points out of 15 in the league is very acceptable considering the tools he has at his disposal. Genuinely don’t think Guardiola or Klopp could have got more out of this squad. If he gets us top 8 with what he inherited he is indeed a great manager. Just imagine what he could do with his own...

    January Transfer Thread 2020

Think our hands are tied because of the latest accounts and having to meet FFP regulations. Best we can expect is a couple of loans in. We’ve offloaded Tosun but we need more deadwood out.

    2019/20 Moise Kean

I back every Everton player and I really hope Kean can be the striker we crave. After all I still naively hope the likes of scherderlin will miraculously find his southampton form under Ancelotti. However I’ve yet to see anything in Kean that convinces me that he can adapt to the premier league...

    2019/20 Moise Kean

The lad has had very little game time, but I hope I’m proved wrong, but I’ve seen no evidence of the hype that made us pay 25m for us.

    David Moyes hangover

Above all else the arrogance of koeman is what got to me. I might be in the minority, but I welcomed his appointment as I thought he did a decent job at Southampton. But from the moment he walked through the door, you sensed his heart wasn’t really in it and he saw us only as a stepping stone to...

    David Moyes hangover

The end of tenure and how the move was orchestrated behind the club’s back and the over top finale at his final home game tainted his respect shown by fans. That was unforgivable. However what wasn’t was his 4th place finish, losing narrowly in the FA cup final without the spine of our team...

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

I wouldn’t. He’s our best defender at present. The thought of Keane and Mina together is scary.
