Only at Everton. Yes it’s a ridiculous amount of money, but we’ll get a top notch player with a point to prove and a fully motivated one to get in the England WC squad.
It'll always be difficult for young players as we don't have a big/good enough squad of senior players. Ideally one or two would get game time but shouldn't be expected to be starting games straight away.
To be fair it wasn’t that long ago we signed about 5 attacking mids for the same position (Klaasen etc) and it worked out horribly on the pitch and financially. It’s a valid concern.
In a perfect world he’d get 15-20 mins here and there when you team is 3 up, off the bench to settle in and acclimatise to the league. Unfortunately you don’t get that playing for Everton.
I think this lad has potential, but, I don't think he physically ready for the prem yet. I'm very much afraid that if we start him against Leeds, he may get torn apart.
