I'd say they learn to play both ways, dependent on situation and opposition

Why shouldn't they? I get it if a manager is poached to try and get a 'like for like' manager in 100% But to sack a manager who's style has obviously not worked and get someone in of a similar ilk is abit mental isnt it? Spurs have likely...

I agree with this 100% mate. Id we had done the above, over the last 8 years we would have been preparing teams to play the Martinez, Koeman, Allardyce, Silva, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard, Dyche then Moyes way. Good luck finding some continuity...

I mentioned him in January, (partly because that's when i noticed his contract expiring) but always liked him since his times at Ajax. Better defensively then given credit for

Its counterproductive to set the whole of the youth team playing exactly the way the first team is. 1) Doesent make sence for a 16 year old playing in a style or system that a manager wants whos unlikely to be there in the 5 years hes ready for...

I think the reds got the better end of that deal. £40m for a player with 70 PL games under his belt, 21 years of age, proven to be in the list of better fullbacks in the league. As said, factor in the replacement cost (who we never know with...

Think for the fees going around for non 'raw' footballers. Barry could prove a decent fee in the long run.

Out of the club? I rate Huijsen on a level of Branthwaite, and we would be furious at £62m Cucurella cost Chelsea £65m Maatsen cost Villa £45m Chilwell £50m And you havent factored in the cost of replacing Huijsen & Kerkez

Ban multi club ownership (or at least ban transfers and loans between clubs in the same umbrella) and put a limit on how many players you can have at a club in each age group

Did Kerkez have a release clause? Bought for £17.8m (I'd imagine AZ get probably at least a 5% of profit they make, so another £1m) Sold for £40m Replacement cost £13.5m No guarantee the replacement will be any or good or better than Kirkez...
