I loved it, but I can respect that POV. It was never gonna be for everyone. Weapons didn’t go hard enough to divide opinion the same way IMO.

Was on HMS Glamorgan when it was hit by an Exocet missile during the Falklands war. The guy who slept above me was killed along with other lads. Would have been a lot worse but the warhead didn’t explode. RIP lads.

Im enjoying the Dune series, far smaller in scale than the movies but interesting and some stadout performances

If you’ve not seen it the detectorists on Netflix it’s well worth a watch 3 series of 6 episodes of gentle humour stars Toby Jones and the geeky one from the office.
