Would much rather just have Alcaraz on loan and no further signings than waste a load of money on a panic buy that won’t add anything to the team. The bottom 3 teams are miles off it, there’s no way we go down even if we sign nobody. If no one good is available for a fair price, don’t waste the...
That’s the most positive Goodison has been in a while today after being used to so much awful football. Attacking play is looking much better already after a week of Moyes in charge. Sure it’s still early days, but I think things are looking up. Especially if we can bring in a couple of decent...
I doubt it because I think he knows he going. Even when he was secure at the start of the season, he still managed to lose four on the bounce so I think he’s out of his depth regardless of his effort levels.
Can see why they might want to wait until the ideal replacement is sealed, but if Dyche knows he’s on the way out, that can’t be good for his motivation. We can’t afford to be throwing points away with a departing manager doing a half-hearted job.
Is it too optimistic to think TFG have already decided to get rid, but we just haven’t announced it yet? If they are reviewing his position, I can’t see how they could possibly conclude he’s the best option available based on the first half of this season.
Feels like there’s no fight from the players or fans this year. Everyone is drained from constant relegation battles. I reckon Dyche will be gone before the Peterborough game tbh, can’t imagine the new owners being impressed with what they’ve seen so far.
