Thanks for posting that davek. He did leave Everton under a cloud and it's been said that he had three clubs paying him at the same time at one stage. He was definitely an operator but a great player in his day who captained Everton, Celtic and Scotland.
Just thought I'd let Everton fans know that Dan Doyle of Celtic and Everton and one of our most significant players in the 1880/90's, will finally have his grave marked tomorrow with a memorial stone at Dalbeth cemetery in Glasgow.
