Look... tourism is all we have right now. If racism and similar problems are widespread, that really wouldn't work for us. No, it too hot to stroll around. Most of them are sleeping at home or on the beach.

Split is filled every year with thousands of tourists from all around the world, or navy men from foreign ships. People are used to foreigners, you really shouldn't have any problems. Racism per se isn't really a thing here... as I sad, there are some historical problems with our neighbors, but...

If there is a Hajduk graffiti near the bar, it's probably cheap. But of course, if you have to drink you beer in the center or on the beach, you will have to pay for that. But you should do what locals do, buy a beer in the market and go chill on Matejuška or Sustipan
