Next manager discussion (poll reset 21/05/2016)

When we appointed Martinez we only knew so much because Dave Whelan couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Roberto Martinez Discussion - Including Live Poll (Poll Reset 1st May)

He has to go, same predictable tactics every game, brings off or refuses to start with players who can create something, persists with Kone hoping one day he will prove he is worth the £5m wasted on him. Players are starting to look like they can't be arsed, so it seems he is losing their...

    Transfer Window Thread

I think Stones will go too, but it will be interesting to see whether Martinez has the balls to say no and risk having his form drop. At the end of the day, Stones still needs to play well to establish himself in the England squad whatever club he is at so he has to be careful how he handles...

    Transfer Window Thread

Not saying it's going to happen, but Stones is under a long term contract, Martinez doesn't have to accept his transfer request. Look at WBA they rejected Berahino's and are still rejecting bids from Spurs. Also, if we did agree to sell him, why would Chelsea bid much more than what they have...

Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

Personally I don't think the club would do that. Selling for any amount of profit would still leave 80% of it for the club.

The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

I wouldn't. I would love to see Rooney back at the club, but the only way we could get him is if he ran down his contract. If Felli and Baines were sold I would like to see it invested in 1 (or 2 if Heitinga goes) new CB's, a battling midfielder who's can sit in front of the back line and...

The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

If we got 6m for Jelavic, I would like to see us bid for Scott Sinclair, that would give Mirallas more freedom to move inside.

The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

I think Kone would do well for us, he scored more than our top scorer last season. Lets be honest if we were talking about signing him from Levante I think the general opinion would be a lot better, instead just because he played in a relegated side he's tainted. The only thing that worries...

The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

Sky Sports News website have a piece on Martinez. Read into it what you will, but I hope it's not a signal that there will be very little activity in the transfer market by Everton. Obviously transfers need to be well planned and thought out, but it just seems to be the same as what we've been...

    Moyes Potential Replacement

Someone was on yesterday evening saying they wanted Stubbs as manager as he will maintain what Moyes has built. Surely we don't want somebody to maintain what he has built, we want somebody to build further and get us into Europe, and maybe a cup win alongside.

    Moyes Potential Replacement

Moyes was quoted as saying he thought his management style suited the German game, so does that mean he may have recommended a German coach who would be suited to improve on what he has done here? Lets hope so, Klinsmanns odds as low as 5 on Coral. Would be nice to get a manager of that caliber in

    Moyes Potential Replacement

To be fair I think Neville will make a good coach, maybe manager one day, but it would be a massive gamble for Kenwright to appoint him as no.1. I would love to see him amongst the coaching staff, maybe even assistant though. I can't see Everton appointing a foreign manager unless they have been...

    Strikers

How many strikers have come in to the club on the back of good scoring records at their previous clubs, done well for the first half season, then gone off the boil. It seems to be that Moyes liked the whole team to work for the cause, rightly so, but do we really need our strikers defending...
