Sure was only ever a #10/2nd striker but even though no deployed as such it just hasn't worked here better for all concerned to move on, the mindset has been created hard to undo carnt be here this year.

Reverse engineer this, would you pay 8mil for him to solve our striker options? I think most would say no. Last year of contract, makes room to add another striker, Maupay is gone, so let’s assume DCL and Cannon. Cannon is a work in progress so I am going to say a #4 striker even if we play one...

Branthwaite replaces him, then Godfrey, Tarkowski, Caody and Holgate. Gives us 5; Holgate who I dont rate is on low wages so not a burden but if we replaced him with a starter or close close starter then we are ok and we free up wages and a $ or 2 in transfer fees.

I think they r tied into paying a portion of his salary for the rest of their season, if past experience is any judge they arent paying a whole heap anyway. Then he is back to use for 12 more months but we arent going to find many suitors to take him even for a packet of crisps.
