Interesting to read comments from the Wolves fans on this...seems they feel we have pulled their pants down by getting him (and potentially for such a low permanent fee) and really value what he has brings to their team
Still early days, and especially hard to judge given he is settling into a team which is bereft of confidence and constantly shifting in formation and starting XI. That being said, if these performances are the standard for the rest of the season then we need to stay away...
That was a really worrying display of a lack of quality in attach, defence and the midfield. Frank is setting us up to play the kind of football needed to get places in this league, but we don't have the players to pull it off - there is a real lack of dynamism, decision making and chemistry out...
An exciting talent - hopefully he will blossom into a great PL player with us. Love his heart for the club. Unfortunately he bears the burden of being our only source of dynamic attacking play right now - if we provide even somewhat of a stable team i am sure he will continue to develop nicely...
433 please Frank. And lets have full backs who can actually attack (slim pickings though).
Pickford
Patterson Keane Holgate Godfrey
Doucoure Allan VDB
Gordon Richarlison Gray
2 - 0 Everton. Gray and Gordon to score.
My last 3 games attending have been Everton 2 - 1 Charlton with McFaddens screamer 2006, Everton 2 - 1 Arsenal 2016 and Everton 6 - 3 Bournemouth. Fantastic games, experiences and people. Worth all the current woes for those moments.
