I dont think Beto and Barry are that similar at all. For me Beto is faster and stronger so better at running on to a ball and shrugging a defender. I have not seen any evidence that Barry is good at this but it may develop with experience. Barry is better at link-up play and has a better first...

Does Armstrong play tonight if there is the possibility of him being loaned out? If he plays does it mean a loan is less likely? Does being cup tied matter as much as it used to?

Surprised no one has come in for Jason Knight at Bristol City, I remember him being mentioned early in the window, I've been impressed anytime I've seen him play. Would probably be more of a squad filler than a starter though but suspect he would be reasonably priced (if there is such a thing)...

I agree, I am not a Keane fan but he has played well and his partnership with big Jake at the end of last season was much better than this seasons with Tarky

As it happens I think Alcaraz could make a good progressive DM. Not the biggest but has the skills and physicality 🤔

Honestly I have forgotten about him and had to google it, he played a grand total of 138 min in 11 substitute appearances but more importantly 2 of them were on RW maybe we should give him a call!

Well thanks be to God they were loans and we didnt buy them..... Its all about perspective, try before you buy can be a savvy way of doing things.
