Worrying that there are lads out there who think it’s acceptable to message abuse to a woman and use language such as slag. Absolutely disgusting.

His arm was held but he needed to be stronger. McCoist said something along the lines of “the defender did well there while pulling his arm out of the referees sight” in the commentary. Would be interesting to know what the reaction would have...

He is an improvement on what we presently have but he is no world beater. If he was a world beater he wouldn’t be at Everton and wouldn’t be costing £15 million. I want improvements, I don’t want a boom and bust type of situation, I want to see...

In the short time he’s been on the pitch he’s shown he can make goals, not least for Beto. Something we have been crying out for. And yet people want to get rid of them both. Boggles the mind, really.

I'd let DCL go, keep Beto and get a first choice striker in. I'm happy to say that I wouldn't have wanted Beto six months ago but he seems to have a terrific attitude and he's strong and fast. There's still plenty of room for improvement but he...

I just think people are making silly predictions based on evidence to the contrary. We won't know until we actually see him with an off-season under a manger that will work with and have faith in him. We haven't seen him with consistent service...

He just makes our other strikers over the years look so weak. It's refreshing to see a striker ride off challenges and outmuscle opponents.

I can’t think of any young 22 year old players that have the potential to play in the prem that cost 12m City reserve players and the RS youngsters go for more than that without ever playing a game With us having to fill so many positions and...

Don’t think he will be going anywhere. Probably been our POTS and the club will know that. He clearly loves the club and he’s fulfilled his higher ambitions at PSG. If he was 30 I’d be worried but he’s 36, will no doubt want to end his career...

Still have huge worries about what kind of player he wants to target, and if he will be thinking with too much short-termism which results in us repeating the mistakes of the past, in such a vital summer rebuild. That said, done a fantastic job...

He has done well. I thought the Fulham win last week was big for him as the Ipswich draw threatened to see the season just going out on a whimper. He ,with the others really need to be on their mettle now to get the rebuild started. We need...

Thanks Davie. In another universe we wouldn’t be enjoying today or the prospect of yet another top flight season. Big part of that is because of him. Both back in the early to mid 00s and now this year.
