I just thought it was all beautiful. Fans were great, really enjoyed it. Cried but not as much as I thought. Loved seeing the old players. Thought the boys did well to win must have felt under a lot of pressure all week. God bless David Moyes. UTFT.

….fans in and outside the stadium a class act today 🥰

Joe is the same age as my Dad so not far off 80. Not too many are able to jog round the block at that age especially given how he played. Have to say generally what a wonderful occasion today has been to watch from a distance. Pretty much the...

….like to think I’ve seen virtually all of those ex-players play, I even played with or against a few of them and was thankfully good enough to play at the place i’ve visited as a fan since 1960. Great seeing the reception for the lads.

Impeccable behaviour by everyone today inside and out the ground. Brilliant atmosphere before the game, even if I did miss the coach through standing outside the Winslow!

Always get a bit sad thinking of Rooney when he played for us. We should have been in a position of stature to keep hold of him, build a team round him and he would have become a legend. Instead we were on our arse after years of mismanagement...

I dont understand how anyone can watch the match today and NOT want him in the squad next season. Imagine having a top striker, and having Beto if he gets injured, or you need a sub, or you want to play with 2 up top. Absolute luxury we havent...

Amazed how rapid he is after that break where he was behind and then just opened up and within seconds he was up there and running onto the pass. Not the most gifted but an absolute workhorse and he doesn’t shy away from play and always wants to...

Crazy to think of how much our collective opinions of him and O'brien have developed with the change of management team. Really hoped he would score today, the big man put everything into that game.

Fair play to Moyes for keeping him on. He clearly was desperate to score but we lost it in midfield without the extra midfielder putting ourselves under pressure after DCL came on

Gives 150% effort every game. As fans you have to appreciate players who put their heart into it like he does. Scores goals and gets us off our seats. I like Beto.

That pass to DCL was superb , a striker wanting it more buries that. Wish the roles were reversed there. Deserved a goal today.

His awareness was on a new level today his layoffs and flicks always seemed to find a man and he led the line superbly very unlucky not to score.
