Tbf my opening comment was in jest, however, I do sometimes feel there isn’t enough recognition in the wider football fraternity that WR Dean was the original No9 and the shirt should be more revered by us than any other team.
The weird thing about Oasis’ comeback is they have two really good albums but everything else is poor and they have never seemed a particularly good live act. Supposedly they were a great pub band before they became massive.
Whatever it is, I'm sure you can find it on one of the songs on the Beatie Boys' 'Paul's Boutique' album as the entire kitchen sink was thrown at that LP.
First album was genuinely seismic, second wasn’t bad. From then on, they disappeared up their own hoops. I still happily listen to Definitely Maybe quite regularly, but nothing would move me to want to go and see whatever it is they’ll be serving...
