I am not. Leeds very clearly had no intention of selling to us and we played along. They kept moving the goalpost the higher our bid went. Southampton at least have said they are willing to negotiate. With Leeds I think it was personal for them.

I haven't seen a minute of this guy play, but I will definitely be furious if we don't sign the best 19 year old in world football! :) He does seem very highly rated though, usually someone like Spurs comes in last minute to scupper the deal.

It’s more likely they are trying to get a replacement before they let him leave. As stated above, Southampton really want other teams to bid to push the price up and nobody can blame them.
