Not for me at the suggested price and I would hate to give them lot any cash - I would imaging they'd go out and buy a top young prospect from Europe for the same money. Alcaraz was £12m - why pay £30m for someone with less experience and a poor injury record to boot?

It's time to let him go and to try someone new (ditto for him to try a new challenge elsewhere).

As a kid going to my very first game with a seat in the top tier of the main stand; a sunny Saturday afternoon, the grass looked so green, the stand so steep and the ground was beautiful. I'd never seen anything like it.

I believe that Man City will ultimately get no punishment (irrespective of whether they are found guilty of not). Leicester will avoid punishment via their yo-yoing between divisions. Chelsea, Arsenal, the Manchester sides, the neighbours and Tottenham similarly will never get a sanction.

I'm sure the decision has been made by the player and club - I'll be happy when it's announced and would prefer to see him move on. DCL has been hampered with his injuries and we can't take the risk of him breaking down again.

A good message from him and he goes with my thanks for what he did in scoring those crucial goals. I'm optimistic that we're starting to see a more business-like approach in terms of contract renewals.

I'd let DCL go, keep Beto and get a first choice striker in. I'm happy to say that I wouldn't have wanted Beto six months ago but he seems to have a terrific attitude and he's strong and fast. There's still plenty of room for improvement but he deserves his place in the squad.
