It’s correct though isn’t it? He cost over £20m and has left for nothing. Whether people like it or not, resale value matters to a club like us who make no money from other avenues.

It’s not feasible to go into a season with 12 first team players, so really we’re just going to have to do early business whether it suits the PSR man or not. We sort of don’t have a choice. The recruitment team thing isn’t an excuse either...
