Can't honestly see where any points are going to come from. I'm sorry, but looking at the so called "gimmie" games, how likely are we to win those? Very worrying form. In a relegation battle? It's definitely on the cards.

Tbf, it's not a Barkley thread. He's irrelevant ATM...he doesn't wanna play for us. Although, how much better did our midfield look last season? Gana, McCarthy, Barry? I'd swap for them now. Erm... I thought we were meant to be building on what we had?

But where were they? I get what you're saying. All of us want a top striker. But our patchwork quilt of a midfield without any width, pace or creativity couldn't make a chance for anyone. You got to agree there.

So are you saying Rom would get 20 plus a season if he was here now?

Gotta agree with all that, but Would love to think that a true centre forward would sort all our problems, but can't help the feeling tha I'm still not convinced. Still, we can regroup for manure at the weekend I suppose. Gulp!

We're all talking about how Rom wasn't replaced. Even if he was, HTF would it make any difference to what we have been seeing? Messi or Naymar etc wouldn't be given a chance to convert with this current system. Genuinely worried.
