@Pilks I'm lucky enough that I've never been through any kind of loss like you've experienced so I can't even imagine the pain you're feeling right now.
The only advice I would give is that if you have no immediate family to help you through...
I think I'd be genuinely disappointed if we were to spend that kind of money.
The club may be over the worst off our financial nightmare but the last thing the new owners want to do is over spend and under perform again. Too many seasons of that...
A man bought a watch, a chain, and a locket for $216. The watch and locket together cost three times as much as the chain, and the chain and locket together cost half as much as the watch. What was the price of each?
I told my wife I'd decorate the hall, stairs and landing. The next day she stripped all the wallpaper while I was at work.
It's been over 5 years and we still have bare walls.
It's now a race to see which will happen first, decorating or dying...
Give him a full season with 2 or 3 better players around him and his stats could be a lot better than that.
Would definitely love to see him signed and a lot of the out of contract players booted out.
62 points this season would have put us in 8th and just outside the European places which I'd be absolutely delighted with. Even with the investment of a few better players this team isn't ready for Europe so I'd happily settle for 8th next season.
Without the points deduction, Everton would have finished 12th last season. This season we've finished one place lower in 13th. Sack Moyes, Sack the board, Sack Amanda Holden, Sack of spuds.
We're going to win the league next year though. 😁😁😁

Just when you think they're not that scary Everton go and sign an over priced, injury prone striker that wouldn't know how to score if you locked him in a brothel with a bowl of viagra.
