Or it could be neither and we're the sinking ship. New stadium, new revenues great. But no so good if all of it and more are used to pay off debts to the detriment of the team.

Tbh thought there would be a lot more vents, it is very exhausting watching us at times, I can imagine a lot of steam exiting those vents during game time, never mind fog on the Tyne.. :)

Think you're right. That David on the Mr Drone vids says the more translucent panels are for exhaust vents.

The vent is directly in front of a tower on the West, as they progress (which they will be able to as they will have completed the top layer on that stand), we'll see if there will be one in front of the next and so on. If that pattern continues...

I would still prefer the barrel cladding to be uninterrupted to be honest. Just my opinion. On another note, I know it's a marmite type thing, but I actually think the North Stand window is looking pretty good...

Could just be the half and half rendering but there looks to be random clearer bits on the cladding there that I haven't seen in any other images. Weird.

Yeah there's no way it's a mistake. It's across two panels that match up correctly. Would be a hell of a coincidental mistake/defect.

I don't believe so. I reckon that band will run all along the West stand.

Deffo looks like a design change and not a defect. Doubt it would have left the factory if the latter.
