Sorry about no posting but have had a bad several months. No cure, but changed medication has improved quality of life somewhat. Don't know how long to go, (haven't been told but don't want to know - take each day as it comes). Her indoors in same situation. Today's result was a great boost.
Had my CT scan today prior to starting Radio therapy. Bit chilly inside the machine, glad to get back out in the sun. Copped rush hour coming home, an hour and a half to do 18 miles!
Eldest son drove down from Nottingham today. Cooked us lunch, did a load of jobs. Second son arriving from York on Saturday for three days. They do look after us. Got my first Radio Therapy on 6th June. (D Day, hope its a good Omen!)
Just spent nearly £1k on car service, maintenance etc., Asked for complimentary valet - don't do it any more. Offered to pay - don't do it any more. Very poor quality of service. (Nissan dealer)
Had a good session at my hospital appointment on Friday, good feedback. They are not doing chemo or op because of my pre condition heart issue. The radio therapy starts in a couple of weeks and is designed to improve quality of life and hopefully 'buy some time'. Happy with all that.
