He is a terrible footballer and a woeful finisher. Whenever he gets a chance i just accept he has missed it already.
You can see form Beto's goals that we could have been away from all the relegation fights with a decent striker.
Dom is still...
The poor thing here is that those defending DCLs right to have his mental health respected are prepared to indulge in a pile on of a fellow poster.
That's contradictory...at best.
Us not creating anything, dycheball, injured loads are excuses used over and over as to why he barely scores. When in reality despite the three things listed above calvert lewin nearly every season is near the top or top of the rankings for most...
Actually prefer how we play into Beto. Balls in behind because we know that’s the type of finish he wants. I don’t think Calvert Lewin’s hold up play is actually that much better than Beto’s (which is improving)
Well im not here to argue mate im just saying what i see. I think its around 10 goals or so from open play in about the last 5 years. Is there another club in the world in a top flight league that tolerates that.
It’s the same issue, he wasn’t scoring cos he had no service. He looked shot and wanted out. Maybe with ndiaye, Alcatraz and a decent rw he’d come good- on his day he can be unplayable - just needs a lot more of those days
I can't blame him for wanting to stay when he's failed to provide any decent level of goalscoring for years, we are his best option after yet another year of failing to score goals and maintain fitness.
I also can't picture any other team in...
He will have plenty of offers I'm sure, including from sides in Europe. Id imagine we will make him an offer too, but it may not be the best deal on the table now we have left it so late to give him an offer.
