Player value is a tricky thing to pitch accurately. Often it's length of contract. Diaz has two or three years left so his value remains pretty high. I suspect he goes for north of £60m - might be crazy money but it's partly driven by few...

Do Barca have any money? I know the big Spanish Two always seem to have dough but I think Barca aren't in the best position.

"US president Donald Trump has claimed that the Club World Cup trophy that has featured prominently in the Oval Office will stay there, and that Fifa made a copy of the trophy that was awarded to Chelsea after their win in the tournament’s final...

Why? The PL is a cash cow that provides member clubs with significant financial rewards. Plus, this is always the daft response when their misconception is pointed out to them - pretending that they knew all along. It's illogical that a club...

The Premier League is an invite too - mostly to teams who didn't get relegated plus teams who were promoted. That competition gave up on legitimate competitors decades ago with it now being the plaything of oil states and venture capitalists...

Not really the point though is it. Lad died in tragic circumstances while still a current player, recently having had the year of his life. It's a fitting tribute to his memory. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
