Maybe. Perhaps I'm feeling sensitive. Just feels particularly whingey today.

The good news is that we usually turn up when the pre-match thread is this negative. Ipswich 1-3 Everton

The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Looking at the competition: - Forest have proven they have more to them than most expected. Look a solid unit and can pick up points in unlikely places. Anfield win aside, they've gone to Brighton and Chelsea and come away with something. - Wolves up until yesterday were looking good in games...

    Threat of villa

As an armchair fan these days, I have nothing against Villa. And I like Emery as well. Gives hope to the league that someone can wrestle their way into contention too. From my years of going to the match, Villa fans irritated the life out of me. Easily one of the most annoying fanbases in the...

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

People would have fumed if Dyche had brought in yet another ex-Burnley boy here.

    Anthony Gordon

I think it's safe to say he's a really good footballer, but you'd have concerns about his mentality going off how he let the crowd / occasion get to him in key moments yesterday. That's often the difference between a good and great player.

    Match Thread Everton 0-0 Newcastle - Saturday 5th October - 17:30

Braindead from Tarkowski but almost worth it to see Gordon miss the penno. If we can nick a goal, we can win it. But once again, we're the reactive team feeding off scraps. Newcastle the only team looking to take control.

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

Got bad vibes from Textor. Got really bad vibes from 777. So this is the best possible solution. Off the field, the only way is up. On the field, we have a really good opportunity to rebuild with only 12 senior players on the books (less if Branthwaite or whoever else go). Now we have to...

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Every football fan should look at their manager and ask themselves the question. "Would Sam Allardyce get more points than this fella?" If the answer is yes, then their manager needs the sack.

The next manager appointment (new thread)

I have voted for Graham Potter again. He was hot property while he was at Brighton and I'm not put off by his inability to find a cohesive side at Chelsea. It's a thankless task there. I get the argument that we don't have a squad that fits his style. But after next season we only have 12...
