Match Thread LFC 0-2 Everton 20 Feb 21 - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

TBH I'd not been on here for a long long time but I want to share the celebrations. Magic. But we are a big club and need to act like one - it is but one step.

    Everton v Watford. Nov 5th 2017

*All* of those layers are the reason one victory isn't all that and we are in the deep mire.

It's a single win. At home. Against Watford. We are still dog ****. Niasse and Lennon were our heroes. We are in some of the darkest days (cast aside Walker/ Smith for now) I can remember.

I don't understand this at all. This was Watford. At home. And we were lucky.

Yep. Can't get my head round people thinking that nearly losing, and putting ourselves in that position, plus relying on a missed penalty, at HOME, to WATFORD, is even close to good enough. We are still terrible. This doesn't even paper over the cracks. Rhino cannot be the new permanent manager.

Now that is what I CALL PUTTING UP A FIGHT.

Well **** me. "So far" wasn't even as far as I thought.

Loved tonight. The problem is that it often appears that dyed-in-the-wool-love-the-club-and-fans types can get something done short term as managers. But it only takes you so far, and then you need some tactical nouse and experience, plus the transfer market and the media when under pressure...

    2017/18 Oumar Niasse

I agree. He has been treated like absolute **** and it's unforgivable.

    2017/18 Ross Barkley

Agreed. I hold out no hope. Which is another £40m RK has cost us.

This. I hope. Tuchel could get me excited.

    2017/18 Oumar Niasse

I'm glad Niasse has scored a couple of goals, but as most people have said, we shouldn't be in a position where we are playing someone that bad.

    Sean Dyche

It would fit with.... just.... just everything. We'd be back to the days of being grateful for 17th or 16th.

So, which players will be following him out of the door........

Cuco. Klaassen. Apart from that, I'd wait and see.

I wanted Koeman gone, but now that he has, none of the realistic contenders excites me like the appointment of Koeman did. I'm not considering Ancelotti realistic. Giggs until the end of the season?
