Not been on here for a while. For anyone interested in the effects of carbon monoxide on athletic performance: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/339624317_Chronic_Exposure_to_Low_Dose_Carbon_Monoxide_Alters_Hemoglobin_Mass_and_VO2max Anyway, back to the cycling… Oh, and...

Just wow. Special design for Sunday only. Only 500 replicas made, and snapped up like hot cakes, else I'd have loved one of these jerseys.

It's calculated on a set formula isn't it depending on difficulty of stage and average speed of the winner. I'm sure the groupetto will form quickly so most won't get kicked out ... but could still lose green jersey points.

Ineos doing exactly the same to O'Connor's chance of yellow. Waiting for the same fume as Movistar had on Friday...

My lad got an unused Michelton Scott bottle at the start 2 years ago. God knows what was in it, but he only had a few sips and was bouncing all day.

Netflix will be delighted. In seriousness, Mas isn't going to win the Tour, but might nick a podium place. In that sense, Carapaz is much more of a rival to worry about.

I'm not sure it would have made any difference to the result, but Pogacar clearly eased up when he tried to close the gap and saw Roglic on his wheel.

Martinez was a beast today, and Bernal could have been in real trouble without him. I thought he was going to win the stage half way up the final climb. When you think he's probably not in Ineos' top 5 climbers, that's scary, and not good for the sport IMO.

RGT is pretty good as something different to Zwift. It was too quiet and limited (but better) routes that couldn't sustain my interest. They change the free routes, but have Stelvio and Cap Fermentor on there - well worth a try.

Snow yesterday and ice today meant the attempt at an outdoor festive 500 was abandoned - I did even try to get out on the missus's hybrid, but even that was sliding all over the road. So 3 hours on the turbo, but with no Zwift. Now that's hard work to stay motivated!

Snowed off today. 2 days left - I really need the ice to hold off tomorrow!
