Never watched it before, for one reason or another, but just finished up Band of Brothers - Magnificent.
Want to watch it again after finishing it was that good.
Growing up I was all about Spiers being a bad ass (and he was), but as you get older I found it was Winters who I appreciated the most and his countless examples of positive intelligent and compassionate leadership under unimaginable pressure.
That lack of choice is what the people demand, though. In representative democracy, the politicians come from the people. The reason fascism is one of the choices is purely because many people are fascist. I agree that democracy is deeply flawed...
