Say what you will, Ashley Young gives more to his club than many players half his age. He stays fit and match-ready. Even now, he stabilized us a number of times. He seems a class act and I wish him all the best 💙.

"Brings in bucks". Not specified by the club. The length of contract is not even specified. It's all vague but some people are prepared to hand a club that - as you say - taken the piss for 35 years the benefit of the doubt.
