Mee was the reason Keane looked classy for us - Mee did all the dirty work. I agree Keane is more suited to a defence-orientated team. I'd have Keane back if we lost Mee.

Hope you are right but Heaton's injury is only "a minor calf strain". Neither Heaton or Hart would settle for being No 2. Pope is out until the New Year.

I have no inside knowledge on anything but what are the chances of Everton making a move for goalkeeper Tom Heaton and/or central defender Ben Mee? The reason I ask is that we are believed to have signed Ben Gibson while Mee only has one year left on his contract and seems to have no intention...

I am very relieved Everton did not go for Dyche. Hope for Everton's sake that Silva lasts longer than he did at Hull or Watford.

I don't think any Burnley fan thinks we will finish as high as 7th again, but maybe we'll have a good cup run - we are exempt until the last 32 in the League Cup.
