He's never gonna be classed as play out from the back keeper , plus his kicking upfield can also be questionable.
But he has gone about his business quietly & very effectively.
He's seen off every keeper thats been pushed to challenge him in...
Undoubtedly an Everton legend. Just a fantastic keeper. He has part of Big Nev’s amateur type ethos/spirit/love of the game as a past time too (ironically as Jordan, as was Nev, is the absolute consummate professional and top of his class like Nev).
Do you know how ridiculously naive that sounds? It's completely laughable. This club was absolutely on its knees when Moyes joined and it had been for a long time. What exactly should he have done differently? Forced Kenwright to sell the club?
Good post. The leg bone is connected to the hip bone stuff.
Easy to see football in isolation, ultimately one player can make a big difference in so many ways
Keane for example, we have to play deeper with him, exposes Gueye who wants to go...
This is completely correct. But him in for the game against Brighton and Wolves instead of KDH and we are marginally better at pressing but exponentially worse at attacking. No way Doucoure could have done any of the plays KDH did for our goals...
Nah, the reason we were so reliant on him was because we had absolutely no creativity or technical ability in the team, so we found it difficult to create goals by playing football.
We did miss Doucoure when he wasn't available because his...
The gap between the midfield and defense is also important mate, I was told last season Branthwaite was our fastest player over a standing start. We miss him on that score, when he doesn’t play the defensive line is a lot deeper which leaves...
That's partly down to not having Branthewaite. Whenever Keane plays we play deeper. I also remember us being dominated in loads of games involving Doucoure so that's complete revisionism.
