You didn't talk about him moving position. You said upgrading him. Which I think is a pretty dumb point. Upgrading NDiaye just doesn't even feature in a top 100 of things that need to be improved at Everton at the moment.

He's literally the only player in our team who can control a ball and beat a player. Midfielders and forwards are always more important than keepers and defenders.

Yes, I agree. But I'm holding back on the adulation until he does it consistently. Hopefully he shows us what he's capable of when he has better players around him (such as, potentially, Grealish).

He's had to do everything himself so far. Strikers have been largely arse-biscuits in recent seasons, with even Beto missing multiple one on ones when on a purple patch. Better forwards (and some goal scoring midfielders...) = More assists

Our bar is very low. Being our most creative player means being the tallest midget. I wouldn't seek to upgrade him this summer - but I wouldn't hesitate to move him if it means getting a better player into his current position.

Completely agree. Much as I’d like to be proven utterly wrong, Grealish is, and always has been, an overrated show pony. Moysie is quoted as being ‘a huge admirer’ of Grealish. I’m not. But then again, I’m not EFC’s manager. If he signs, then ok...

NDiaye is better.

James Rodriguez is on a completely different level to Grealish in terms of ability. They shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.
