That's how I feel. It signifies the end for me. The growth of a talented young team was the last shot we had. If we cannot hang on to that talent then what's the point.
I was 6 and Amokachi celebrating with his tongue out is my first real Everton memory. Became my trademark celebration for a while, but was soon replaced by the Big Dunc clenched fist.
I'm sure my old man bounced around the living room floor on his arse without any other part of his body touch...
I am a Lukaku fan, but he left so disappointed on Saturday. Went back to his lazy, idle ways. If I could have got my hands on him at the final whistle I would have throttled him. If he had more desire to score a goal and had a football brain he would double his scoring rate easy.
He would have some energy in the midfield. Have to make sure he had double spin before paying big bucks though. Would love to see the dance when he scores too!
Been a big fan of his up until last night. I am still livid! Completely devoid of ideas. The most frustrating 90 minutes of football I have ever watched. Yes they set up to do just that, but we made it easy for them. No risk taking whatsoever. Barkley looks shot, don't think he played anything...
To the tune of Peter Reid's "He's fat, he's round, he's worth a million pound, Peter Reid, Peter Reid!"

Mo Besic,
Mo Besic!!"
All I know is that it is bloody exciting. We need to be patient, trust in martinez and the players, because the one thing we have all agreed upon on here is that the magic (if it does come) will happen in 4 to 5 years. Just need to keep making small steps of improvement each year and gaining...
He inspired a new song from me last night. It's to the tune of Peter Reid's "He's fat, he's round, he's worth a million pounds, Peter Reid, Peter Reid!"
"Ross is boss,
So is Stones,
Mo will break your f***ing bones,
Mo Besic,
MO BESIC!"
