Or some of the hate he gets in that case.
To be honest I don't see many put him on a pedestal, he gets a lot of respect rather than adulation. Players/coaches/opponents etc.
He was a very good player until he broke his leg. He also seems like...
Rallying the troops, making sure they put the defeat behind them and move onto the next game. Reinforcing the priveleged position they're in and making sure they know how much Everton Football Club means to the fans.
First met him when he was on loan at Blackpool (missus is a season ticket holder there).
He has always been a model professional with an empathy for , and an understanding of , the average fan.
Great bloke , and a shame that there aren't a few...
Well worth keeping. Moyes is getting results from him by playing to his strengths. We have only seen half a season of Beto being utilised properly and it looks like he will be a double figures striker. He is a handful
Feed Beto and he will score, so get some other better options from the wide areas and attacking midfield and he will cause teams more problems than he has previously.
Excited to see more of Beto and charly Alcaraz together as well.
Given his scoring record in the second half of the season when he actually got played we'd be mad to sell him unless it was a ridiculous offer. He could be a 15 goal a season striker easily plus i genuinely think defenders absolutely hate playing...
….39yo, always injured yet Brighton have extended James Milner’s contract. We don’t know what these type of players offer to a club but it’s obviously something considerable.
Whether Coleman signs a playing contract or not doesn’t really matter...
If he is/was a great player, he would score goals much more regularly....if he had we would not have been in the relegation fight to start with. Crap player, get rid. Rides all the glory and adulation after scoring one good goal.
That highlights vid isn't the best (?). I'm getting Doucoure vibes with a sprinkling of Beto with some of those touches... and the studious cuts after he takes a shot are a bit suspect. I suppose he is young so the amount of good things to show...
Choose to believe what you want but any manager getting Ashley Barnes, Chris Wood, Danny Ings, and Sam Vokes near double figures in the premier league seems to know how to get even crap strikers scoring.
I believe the fault lies with the fella...
Moyes was on the touchline two weeks ago when put clean through at Newcastle. He still missed.
That was a bit of a cheap shot. Ive nothing against DCL. Everton just need to move on. Mainly coz i think we're better without him.
