Worth contacting the club. There might be a chance of them creating a season ticket card for odd situations like this, would be cheaper for you than buying a new phone. You don't ask, you don't get.

I know there might have been a problem with tickets being sold on at much higher than face value, but it seems a bit harsh to have a solution that makes it such a pain in the backside for honest lids to get access to the game.

Beware of buying a cheap phone as many of them , even new models , don't have NFC . Check under connectivity first to see if it's installed . If not it won't scan at the turnstile.

Can't see why they aren't at both grounds tbh. People talk about Everton branding on the new stadium. These are Everton icons, this is the Everton Stadium. An absolute no brainer. Cast copies and get them on the plaza.

How do the digital season tickets work then? I've just stuck with the physical card up until now. From reading posts on here about not being about to share it I'm guessing it's locked to the phone in some way ?

I asked this question of a reliable company they said they can do it but the request has to come from the club.

I've mentioned it on here before. If you have a look around, there are staff/companies who deal with NFC technology, who may put it on a card for you.

Modern tech mate PITA I used to do 50/50 split with my cousins. Now you need the code from the phone. As some have said you could just buy a cheap phone for you ST on a pay as you go

Has it been confirmed that there will be no physical season ticket card next season? ….What about those who don't have or don't want to use a smart phone? What about back up if said device conks out?
